Flyfishing in the Lake District... 
After years of hiding their secrets, at this time the trout and salmon
of the rivers and lakes of the Lake District in Chile, have been shown for some privileged
fishermen.
Located 1.000 Km. south of Santiago (Capital of Chile), the Lake District is the
entrance to Patagonia and to the fisherman's paradise. We invite you to fish accompanied
by professional guides that will go with you in a world of millennial rain forests,
impressive volcanoes, fiords, glaciers, hot-springs, lakes, and rivers at the end
of the world.
The types of trout that you can find in these latitudes are: Brown trout, Rainbow
Trout, Sea Trout, Steelhead, Chinok. Among the species of salmon we find: Salmon,
Coho Salmon, Salmo Salar. The weight of the species vary according to the season
and fishing place. Being able to capture species from 1 1/2 - 6 or 7 Kg. Bigger have
also been captured depending on the technique and the fisherman's ability.
We have two very successful programs provided by Aquamotion, specialists in fly fishing in the Lake District and Patagonia (Chile) since 1992.
